Club InformationAbout UsOur club consists of a group of people with yachts ranging up to 46', who enjoy the beautiful environment in which we live. We are keen to foster the love of sailing in a safe, responsible and sociable manner. We do not have a club house, but hold our meetings in members' homes. CommunicationsThe club's call sign is SYCEE. Members generally have VHF or 27 meg and listen on Channel 16 or 86 respectively, then transfer to a chat channel such as VHF 17 (close range), VHF 77 or 27 Meg 94. MooringsThe club's funds are used in the main to service our five moorings in Pittwater and Cowan Creek. The club has two moorings in Towler's Bay, one in the Basin and two in Refuge Bay. These moorings are used as a base for many Club functions, as well as for the private use of members. Club BurgeeThe club burgee is an orange pennant with a bisecting black cross.
MeetingsMeetings are generally held every two months in various members' homes. The meetings commence at 8.00 pm and details of the next meeting are published in our Newsletter, the Mainsheet. |
