Comment: Peter & Karen have a great trip and enjoy the Aegean Sea. Ken we were huddled at Towlers last night....but not in a raft thankfully. We think the forecast was too light on. We think it gusted about 40k NW at times. We were protected but copped back winds all night. There were some spectacular spin drifts across Morning Bay. The wind abated a little at 3 this arvo so we headed back. Ian, we'll be out next weekend and are looking forward to taking Idle Vice out for a sail as it seems ages since we've had a decent sail. Hopefully the forecast will be better than this weekend.

Comment: Peter and Karen of Sirocco will be absent from the water for a couple of months. We will be back in November after visiting the relo's in the UK and will catch up with you all at the first opportunity. Happy sailing!!

Comment: Hope no SYCC yachts were bobbing around wildly in a raft-up last night! For once the weather forecast was accurate. Captain Ken is keen to take Perissa out into fresh blue water Ian next weekend, but the crew (aka Sue) would feel more keen with some experienced sailors aboard also.

Comment: Hi Mike like the new layout of the site it shows what can be done and it makes for a great start for the sailing season and it sets us above the rest of the cruising clibs out there, Well Done

Comment: Looking ahead to our next weekend on the water, 11-12th, we are proposing to attempt a sail out through the heads and into some fresh blue water. Weather will no doubt be a factor and we will finalise details a day or two before. For those who do not wish to take their own yacht out and/or lack open water experiance but would like to get out, I suggest we group ourselves into a number of "crews" and head out under the guidance of a number of experianced skippers. If you are planning on joining us, could you drop me an e'mail indicating if you are intending to, sail on your own boat, happy to take a crew, offer to skipper, wether it may be on your own boat or another. The basin would probably be an obvious overnight stop.
